Rihanna and Katy Perry were awfully close at the MTV VMAs this August, but it seems something has soured the friendship - could it be Chris Brown?
When asked if she'd been in contact with the Diamonds singer, Katy told MTV: "We've had dinner, and that's about it. I didn't reach out to her after the incident."
Ummm…what incident is this? When Rihanna got back together with ex Chris Brown, who infamously assaulted her in 2009? Or has something else happened?
Katy Perry's usually quite open about things, so it's weird she's being so cagey right now.
She did address rumours that Chris has already dumped Rihanna and moved onto the next girl, though, saying: "I think she is doing fine. I don't know."
"Her personal life has probably already been blown out of proportion. I don't really have to go into that. I'm sure she probably wants a break."

The pair haven't been seen together since the VMAS, which was, incidentally, the very same night that Rihanna kissed Chris square on the mouth for millions of people to see…
If Katy Perry has sent Rihanna to Coventry because of her reunion with abusive badboy Chris, we can't help but think she's got the right attitude…but surely now is when Rihanna needs all the support not to return to someone who hurt her so badly??
It's a tricky one, and at the end of the day it's up to Rihanna the relationships she wants to have…but we sure know who, out of Katy Perry and Chris Brown, we'd rather hang out with!
