Olympian Louis Smith has lifted the Strictly Come Dancing glitterball after a final showdown against fellow two-steppers Denise Van Outen, Kimberley Walsh and Dani Harmer, mainly by taking his top off and dancing around shirtless. That's cheating, Louis, and you know it.
Asked how winning the show compared to his silver medal win at London 2012, he put a top on for a minute to say: "They are both very different, but I can finally say I've won something in the year 2012."
Louis' stand-out performance of the night saw him perform gymnastic feats on top of a giant globe before lifting partner Flavia Cacace high above his head to the strains of Take That's Rule the World.
The performance won a quartet of 10s from the judges, with Darcy Bussell saying: "You blew me away. That had grace, it had fluidity. It was sensual as well."
After the show Louis said he was smiling so much his "cheeks were shaking" and that he planned to put the glitterball trophy above the fireplace in his new home. "I have just got a house being built with a nice fireplace, and I'm hoping it is going to go right at the top, right in the middle."
Earlier this week heatworld readers (you.) (you, right there. You.) voted Kimberley Walsh as your favourite to win – do you think she was robbed or were you swayed by Louis' topless performance?
