NEWSFLASH for anyone who hasn’t cottoned on to Shakira’s naughty little prank yet. Yes – the cheeky South American singer hasn’t had her baby yet.
Oh. Her hips don’t lie but her lips do, eh?
Well – her husband's, Gerard Pique’s, do.
Gerard tweeted in the early hours of this morning, something which translates to:
“Our son has been born! We are very happy! Thank you all for your messages!”
This wasn't his only joke though. Oh no. The footballer followed up the message claiming that they had followed the on-going celebrity trend of naming your baby something peculiar.
“He has a name! He's called Innocent! Happy Day of the Innocents to all of you!”
Now, those with a half decent grip of the language or anyone with knowledge of Spanish countries and their traditions, would have clocked on that today is their version of April Fools’ day.
Ah. Now we understand.
We bet the heavily pregnant Shakira was tickled Pink by that one.
