It might be less than a week since Lance Armstrong cold-heartedly confessed to taking a load of drugs and getting on his bike a total of seven times to win the cycling world’s coveted Tour De France title, but there are talks of a film about the disgraced athlete.
And Bradley Cooper’s particularly excited about Paramount Pictures’ upcoming biopic of the Livestrong campaigner, who admitted to using blood transfusions of his OWN BLOOD filled with oxygen to make him cycle faster.
Bradley said: “I would be interested in that. "I think he's fascinating. What a fascinating character." Other actors who have been considered for the role include Matt Damon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Fassbender and Christian Bale.
Bradley, who is nominated for a Best Actor Oscar at next month’s Academy Awards told the BBC: “I remember Matt Damon was going to do his autobiography at one point years ago.
“I remember thinking, that would be a great character, I’d love to play that character. I would love to do something, I think he’s pretty fascinating.”
Bradley, who is nominated for that Oscar thanks to his starring turn in Silver Linings Playbook alongside Jennifer Lawrence, also said that his mum is going to be his date to the big day.
We hope you get the role
