If you’ve already picked up this week’s heat magazine, you’ll see our amazing pictures of Jen Metcalfe frolicking around on a beach looking like she’s not got a care in the world.
But back in cold old Blighty, we wanted to know what Samia Ghadie made of all the talk about her and her Dancing on Ice partner (and Jen’s ex-boyfriend) Sylvain Longchambon.
And, when we caught up with her at the National Television Awards after-party on Wednesday (where she barely left Sylvain’s side) Samia didn’t hold back.
“I’m getting really fed up of all the speculation about my personal life – we’ve never spoken about it, because I’ve not got anything to say and it’s just his ex-girlfriend selling stories, so... There’s nothing I can do about that, but I know I’ve done nothing wrong.
Ouch.
Asked if she was happy at the moment, she added: “I’m really happy – I’m getting on with my life and trying to be good at skating and be a good mum and that’s it. That’s all I care about. I can sleep in my bed knowing I’ve done nothing wrong – that’s all that matters to me.”
The threesome avoided an awkward face-off at the awards ceremony last week because Jen was on holiday, but Samia insisted she wouldn’t have cared either way.
“I didn’t know. I’m not bothered. If she was coming, then fine, that’s up to her, but I’m never going to shy away from her, because I’ve not done anything wrong.
“She’s with Greg now from Geordie Shore now anyway, isn’t she, anyway? Hope she’s happy.”
