Alicia Keys revealed on the Wendy Williams show that her 2-year-old son Egypt has a crush on Beyoncé and Jay Z’s daughter Blue Ivy.
The Girl On Fire singer spoke of the soft-hearted Paris rapper’s protectiveness over his only daughter, saying:
“Egypt kissed Blue, and I don't think Jay liked it very much!".
The singer, who is married to rapper Swizz Beatz, added,
"He [Jay Z] called my husband and he was like 'Watch your son!’.”
Bey and Jay Z were seen greeting Alicia Keys and Egypt at the 2013 NBA All-Star game over the weekend, though Alicia’s cheeky tot was probably secretly hoping to see his crush Blue Ivy there. Unfortunately for the little fella, 1-year-old Blue was at home giving his superstar parents a well-deserved break.
The Brand New Me singer also spoke about her love of motherhood, adding that she is planning to expand her family within two years. Speaking of her busy schedule, the working mother admitted:
“I'm going on tour. I'm very excited," adding, “Sometime I think like oh man, what if I could spend every waking minute with Egypt?"
