Is there anything more annoying than a bouncer putting their arm across you and smirking, “Not tonight darlin’”?
Well, don’t just ask us – ask a host of celebs who we spied having a few problems getting in the VIP area at the various Brit after parties last night.
Poor Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford decided to join Taylor Swift in the DJ booth at the Universal Music Brits party hosted by Bacardi at the Soho House pop up but were told by her security they weren't allowed in!
Carey and Marcus were left for 20 minutes (which is at least three days in celeb-time) trying to wave at Taylor and catch her attention to give them the green light to enter. After much waiting around, Taylor finally saw a hopeful Carey peering over the decks and said "Oh gosh! I'm so sorry! Come in!"
But poor Marcus had to wait a further a five minutes before he was let in too!
At the same party, Bridesmaids star Chris O'Dowd got a shock when he realised he had to queue for the unisex loss – shock horror – just like everyone else! "He was throwing a bit of a tantrum," said an on-looker.
Meanwhile, at the Warner Music Group Brit Awards party (with Samsung and Belvedere Vodka) at the Savoy Hotel a rather tipsy-looking Jack Whitehall seemed to be having some trouble with the security until Nick Grimshaw came and helped him out.
Meanwhile, Stooshe seemed happy to dance up a storm in the main area of the party, rather than heading to the VIP area with other stars like Harry Styles and Lily Cooper.
And unlike his colleague Nick, Greg James also opted to party with everyone else while Mark Ronson DJ-ed.
Greg also had a bit of trouble convincing the moody bouncers at the Belvedere Vodka Sony party at The Arts Club that he was supposed to be there, but luckily they saw the light soon enough.
Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock also had a spot of trouble getting her boyfriend, Jordan Kiffin, into the party for a good 10 minutes. For goodness sake – it was freezing last night!
See – celebs, just like us.
