There are lots of reasons why we sometimes we wish we lived in America – school there looks A LOT more fun, it’s warmer (unless it’s all romantic New York snowy) and you can readily buy peanut butter M&Ms.
Well, now we can add something else to the list – you can buy wine made by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
The couple own have owned a 1,000-acre estate complete with vineyard in south-west France for five years and will release wine made from their actual grapes from March 15 in the US, named after the estate – Miraval.
The 2012 vintage Pink rose will feature a label saying, “Bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin” – the Perrin being Mark Perrin, a French winegrower introduced to them by mutual friends.
A statement from Brad says: “We are intimately involved and quite enthused over the wine projects with out friends the Perrin family.
Marc added: "Brad and Angelina are very friendly, nice people and down to earth. They're thinking long term. If you knew Brad and Angelina, you would see they are in search of perfection in everything.
"We talked a lot and did the first harvest together. They are very demanding in seeking excellence in the quality and character of their wine."
They’re not the first celebs to enter the wine game… Drew Barrymore, Fergie and even Sir Cliff Richards love a bit of winemaking.
