Taylor Swift’s love life news now, and Taylor Swift does not really like it when people write about her love life. Um. Uh.
Speaking to Elle, Taylor took some time out from writing a load of not-at-all-coded songs about her love life to tell the magazine that when it came to dating, she never did the chasing: and plus also please can everyone shut up about her love life.
“I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumour it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him,” she said, while chasing a man around a car park. “People love that angle on me.”
Don't like it
She continued: “They’re like, ‘Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys’. I never chase boys. They don’t like it!”
And she also said that she doesn’t like to shout and such when a relationship doesn’t work out. “I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend,” she said, while plucking the strings of an acoustic guitar. “Ever. I’m not a yeller. I’m not a fit thrower. If something is done, it’s done.”
She does properly write a lot of songs about her exes, though, something she also addressed in the interview. “To me it’s just writing songs the way I always have,” she said. “It’s me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better.”
