Daniel Radcliffe played the role of possibly our favourite wizard of all time – apart from maybe Gandalf and James Franco in Oz – and we’re happy to say, it seems that Harry Potter is his favourite wizard too!
The star could be forgiven for being a tad sick of his old character – seeing as he did play him for his entire teenage life, however, it seems Harry still has a very special place in Daniel’s heart.
Rather than forgetting his past, Daniel insists that the films will always have a special place in his heart.
“People always say, ‘don’t you just want to forget about it,’” he revealed, before adding, “no [I don’t]! That was my entire adolescence.”
Speaking about the aftermath of Potter-mania to Yahoo! News, the 23-year-old admitted that there was a lot of speculation about how the films would affect his future job prospects.
“I feel like everyone wanted Potter to be more of a handcuff than it actually was…
“I think [the phenomenon] is going to be around for a while - a long while - but as long as it doesn't inhibit me getting parts in the present time, then it's fine.
“It's a lovely association to have, because it's something I'm incredibly proud of.”
The actor has gone on to have great success in TV and film since the end of the franchise, including his leading role in the Woman In Black.
He is currently preparing to return to London’s west end in June where he’ll be staring in a new comedy called, The Cripple of Inishmaan.
His latest film, Kill Your Darlings, was brought by Sony Pictures after it was showcased to great acclaim at the Sundance Festival.
We feel big things are coming your way, Harry. Sorry, Daniel!
