Will.i.am denies Pharrell lawsuit claims: "i.am not suing"

will.i.am, Pharrell, Pharrell Williams, The Voice

We were all pretty stunned when Rolling Stone claimed will.i.am was suing Pharrell - over the use of the phrase "I AM". Which is why we breathed a huge sigh of relief when The Voice judge denied the allegations via his Twitter page last night:

Casual bit of self-promotion there too - smart work!

We imagine Pharrell will be just as pleased as we are - if a little bit embarrassed. After all, he was quoted as saying that he was "disappointed" over the initial reports of a lawsuit, stating that he would have liked to work things out with will.i.am.

"I am disappointed that will, a fellow artist, would file a case against me."

"I am someone who likes to talk things out and, in fact, I attempted to do just that on many occasions."

We guess that, if he HAD talked things out with will.i.am, he would have realised that all reports of a lawsuit were totally bogus...
