In breaking ‘we watched a four-year-old TV programme and noticed someone who is now significant in the background’ news, The Sun has watched a four-year-old TV programme and noticed someone significant in the background today. And that person is Cressida Bonas, Prince Harry’s girlfriend.
Cressida appeared in the background of rubbish ITV2 drama Trinity in 2009, playing the role of – LOOK AWAY, THE QUEEN – playing the role of a girl offering sexual favours in exchange for student council votes.
In it she wore a Superman-style cheerleading outfit and had someone tell her to “wash her [P-WORD], it’s election week”. Nobody ever really saw this happen because Trinity had 1.2 million viewers at its peak and barely half that by the end, but then someone somewhere remembered Cressida was in and she is mildly famous now, so here we are, talking about it.
“Cressida will be mortified,” a source told the paper. “She has been hoping this acting gig would never see the light of day.”
Cressida – who was 20 at the time – bagged the role via her half-sister Isabella Calthorpe, who played a more significant, less doing-sex-for-votes role in the show. She already has form for only getting jobs through family connections, then. Make her a royal.
The 24-year-old dance graduate has been publicly ‘going steady’ with Prince Harry since February.
