As if it hadn't all been quite enough, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt from The Hills are going to be in a reality TV show about how they were in a reality TV show and the aftermath of aforementioned reality TV show. Reality TV show.
After Shock: Heidi & Spencer is set to be a blistering political satire of the current need for scripted reality and how that affects us psycholog... oh no wait, sorry, that's something else. It'll be about their rise to fame and struggle with stardom. It'll be more stuff about them, basically, in case you'd forgotten who they were and wanted a recap.
Of the special, Spencer somewhat ground-breakingly explains: "The second [that The Hills] ended, in 2010, the jig's up. Now you're irrelevant. Your 15 minutes are up." Not if you flog it to death it's not.
Heidi will also be opening up about how she surgically reconstructed her entire face at the age of 23 despite being very pretty to begin with, and why she chose to recently get rid of some of her breast implants. Presumably this will include the quote: "I looked ridiculous".
The special will air on E! on December 9 if you fancy watching more revelations from reality TVs first victims, sorry, couples. Poor Speidi.
