Since his untimely death yesterday, tributes have poured in for Heath. Fans have set up shrines of flowers, candles and messages outside both of Heath's New York homes, including one next to a footprint left by Heath's daughter Matilda in cement outside the home he once shared with her and Michelle. His neighbours have also expressed their loss – Ken D. Friedman, the owner of Heath's favourite restaurant The Spotted Pig in Manhattan, says: "All of us at The Pig are devastated. He was such a sweet man. Such a tragic loss. He lit up the room." Meanwhile, more stars are paying tribute to Heath. John Travolta said: "He was very modest. He was almost bashful when accepting compliments. He didn't want to make a big deal out of himself. He's a big deal." And Transformers actress Rachael Taylor said: "I was really impressed by his early Australian film, Two Hands, and his film Candy and, of course, it would be remiss of me not to mention the performance in Brokeback Mountain. He was extraordinary. It was a monumental moment in cinema."
