Blinking nora, we’ve just realised that the release of the Sex And The City movie is just six weeks away – and now some of the team behind the film have spilled a few more beans about the most exciting cinematic event, like, ever. “If I were to compare the movie to one of the episodes from the series," says a secret source who worked on the movie, "it would be the fashion-show episode [from season four]. Just the scale of that episode, in that every single person who walks on camera is famous, and there's millions of extras and supermodels. It's a massive episode. So the movie basically starts at that level and goes even further.” The insider also revealed that, in one scene, Carrie hurls her diamond-encrusted mobile phone off a cliff in Mexico when she receives a message from Big, and describes the wedding dress we’ve seen pictures of as “the perfect dress to get jilted in.” Eek. We’re also excited to hear that there are plenty of hot men for us to drool over to ease the pain of any potential romantic dramarama between Carrie and Big. One in particular is a new character called Dante, a hunky 30-something neighbour of Samantha’s in LA who she secretly watches even though she’s still dating Smith. But we think that insider sums it up nicely when they say “We miss these people. It is subversively talking to people about their own lives, and through that they feel things, they reach out to a loved one or have emotions. That's the whole point.” Six weeks to go, people! Aaaargh!
