All big Hollywood stars seem to earn a ludicrous amount of money for their movies, but a new list by prestigious business magazine Forbes has calculated who is technically the most overpaid. It’s all a bit complicated, but basically they’ve compared the earning powers of big stars to the box-office takings of their movies – and it’s bad news for Nicole Kidman, as she’s the worst offender. For example, for every $1 Nicole was paid to star in The Invasion, the film actually lost $2.68. Um, that’s not good is it? Of course, a big name like Nicole does bring in the wonga sometimes but, on average, she’s a big old loser. She’s closely followed by Jennifer Garner, but we think she’s worth every penny she got for the brilliant 13 Going On 30. Tom Cruise, meanwhile, is the most worthless man.
