There's been so much mud being slung from both sides of the Madge and Guy camp, that we're finding it very difficult to remember who said what. It's basically impossible to pick sides in a battle like this, but it appears that Gywneth Paltrow has managed it. Talking about Madge at the London premiere for her new film Two Lovers just last night, the actress said, "She's a very dear friend. I support her in all the ways I can." She didn't have anything to say about Guy, however, telling reporters, "I'm just here for her [Madonna] and on the other end of the phone. I speak to her a lot." Madge and Gywneth have been close friends for a number of years now, and Gywn has previously said that the Queen of Pop helped her through her post-natal depression. With so-called "friends" coming forward in droves to tell their side of Madonna and Guy's story, it must be nice for Madge to have a friend she can really trust. We wonder if Vinnie Jones will do the same thing for Guy when he's next being interviewed...
