As we told you yesterday, Jennifer Aniston has done a new and revealing interview, in which she talks openly and honestly about not just her feelings for Angelina Jolie, but also how she feels about her ex Brad, and the truth about her relationship with John Mayer. We revealed yesterday how Jen had referred to Ange as "uncool", after the latter actress admitted falling in love with Brad while making Mr & Mrs Smith – but it doesn't stop there. In the interview with US Vogue, Jen admits, "That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool. There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt that those details were a little inappropriate to discuss." Despite the fact that she clearly has very little time for Angelina, Jen only has kind words for her former husband. Talking openly about their split, she confesses, "The marriage didn't work out. Pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other." She goes on to say, "I have nothing but absolute admiration for him and I'm proud of him." Not only was Jen happy to talk about the former man in her life, but she also opens up about current squeeze John Mayer, saying, "You know, it isn't designed, love just shows up and you go, 'Oh, wow, this is going to be a hayride and a half.'" A hayride? Is that some sort of saucy American euphemism? Jen also says she understands why John spoke to the press after their first break-up, and doesn't harbour any hard feelings. "I get it. We're human. But I feel seriously protective of him and us. There was no malicious intent. I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that's where it is." Awww, they "adore" each other?! We feel like doing a little cry. If we were sporting pundits, which we're definitely not, we'd be dinging a bell right about now and saying, "Round one to Jennifer Aniston". We do wonder what Ange is going to make of all this...?
