We’re looking forward to seeing Brad Pitt’s new film The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button – but it sounds like the theme of mortality has made him feel a little morbid. “Angie and I do not fight anymore,” he says in an intimate new interview with Rolling Stone magazine. “What occurred to me on this film, and also with the passing of her mother, is that there's going to come a time when I'm not going to get to be with this person anymore. I'm not going to get to be with my children anymore. Or friends, people I love and respect. And so, if we have a flare-up, it evaporates now. I don't want to waste time being angry at someone I love.” The man’s got a point, hasn’t he? Brad also says it makes him angry when Angelina is criticised. “I get defensive,” he says. “They're talking about not only the woman I love, but one of the people on this planet who I have the greatest respect for. I think she's as honourable as anyone I've ever met.” While he’s busy gushing about his missus, Brad also says that Mr And Mrs Smith is his favourite of her movies (and not just because he's in it too). “Because, you know, six kids,” he explains. “Because I fell in love.” Is that nauseating or nice? We can’t decide…
This is a bit morbid
