We all gasped when we saw this shot of Jennifer Aniston on the cover of GQ – Rachel Green’s, like, naked! – and now Jen and her current man-squeeze John Mayer have talked about the controversial image. “I wasn’t trying to make any statement,” she said at the Marley & Me premiere in LA last night. John adds that he has no issue with his lady-friend stripping off for men to drool over. “I mean, if I have a problem with that cover, I should just get the hell out of here,” he said. “If I have a problem with that cover, I should just pack up the Toyota and head out of town. I'm just gonna get ready to put my knuckles in the air for it.” When a reporter then tried to make the singer hold a copy of the issue in question, John was similarly jovial. “Don't make me hold it – you're pimping me out!” he said. “Because when I touch it, angels die.” He’s quite the joker, isn’t he? We’re glad him and Jen seem so happy though – in the GQ piece she said that they “care deeply for each other, and we're just trying to figure it out.” Yay!
