Yes, we know it’s the season of goodwill and all that, but we can’t help but feel a bit nauseous after reading a brand new interview with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, in which they vom-inducingly gush over one another. As we all know, Katie dreamt of marrying Tom when she was a youngster, but now he's revealed that, “I said I wouldn’t want to disappoint her.” Ew. And he admits he wanted to marry Katie as soon as they met, even buying an engagement ring following their first date in 2005. How romantic (or psycho stalkerish, whichever you prefer). But even Katie wanted in on the wedding action asap; Tom says in the interview he was convinced Ms Holmes was going to pop the question before he did. And naturally, Katie hasn’t held back in the fawning stakes either – and also admits she was “completely in love” after their first meeting. "He was so warm, and I thought, 'Wow’”, she says. "I thought, 'You can be a superstar and a human being.' "He made me feel so amazing.” Please. Make. It. Stop. We feel rather ill.
