As you all know, we've been lamenting the demise of the Paris and Benji mutual appreciation union for some time now, but now we've heard a rumour that's really cheered us up. Paris Hilton has reportedly been on a number of dates with...wait for it...Mr George Clooney! Yep, apparently the unlikely couple have been on a couple of dinner dates in West Hollywood, and insiders believe they are doing their best to hide their romance by inviting friends along. One source said, "It looked like a first date that they brought pals on to make it not look like a first date." Er, okaaay. Another onlooker claimed, "George couldn’t keep his eyes off Paris. She and George were deep in conversation at the bar and seemed to be enjoying their time together. Paris was flirting big time, and George was soaking it up. You could tell they were really into each other." Crikey. Could this rumour really be true? Imagine if it is, and Paris starts gushing away about George in great detail like she did about Benji. That would be AMAZING. Still, if this story does turn out to be 100 per cent accurate, we'll eat our leftover Santa hat.
