Now, call us cynical, but we’re not sure if all these stars really have an opinion about Jessica Simpson’s weight. However, a couple of weeks on from all that business relating to her putting on about an ounce and appearing on stage in these high-waisted jeans, people are still obsessed. The latest somewhat famous person to leap on the Simpsonwagon is Jennifer Love Hewitt – but the actress is more qualified than most on this particular subject, as she too has been the victim of curve-bashing, after pictures of her looking like a normal woman rather than a small emaciated boy went global a year or so ago. “I wish they would leave her alone,” she says of the Jessica controversy. “Ignore it, live your life and be happy. It gets silly. We're all supposed to look how we're supposed to look. We're made to be different people. Not everybody can be super tall and super skinny. You have to look inside yourself and find your own confidence. It wavers from day to day, but that's human nature.” Wow, that’s deep, maaan. Still, we totally, like, dig what she’s saying… we’re just wondering who will be next to chip in on the subject of Simpson’s size because they know it will get them a few column inches…
