There's nothing quite like a down-to-earth celebrity – us here at heatworld are big fans. So, when we learned that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had shunned London’s 5-star restaurants in favour of a meal at a local Indian eaterie in South Kensington, it made us feel very happy indeed. After checking in to the super-posh Dorchester Hotel on Saturday, the duo booked a table for twelve people at Noor Jahan where they and ten friends tucked into vegetable samosas, tandoori lamb chops and lamb pasanda. Shauyab Ahmed, part-owner of the restaurant, revealed, "They booked a table for twelve at 7.30pm and were a bit late arriving, but that was OK. The other customers loved it and were very happy to see them." But it wasn't just any group of pals Brad and Ange decided to dine with. Oh no. Instead their table was made up of supermodel Claudia Schiffer and her film director husband Matthew Vaughn, as well as actor Robert Downey Jr. The restaurant is a favourite of Matthew's. Mr Ahmed went on, "Matthew comes in here all the time with Claudia. He loves the lamb pasanda, he always has that. Brad and Angelina seemed to like the food, too. They ate it all." We love that Brad and Ange's idea of a top Saturday night out is a curry with mates. It makes them seem so much more, like, normal, don't you think?
