Now granny Lohan speaks out
We were quite pleased when we heard Lindsay Lohan herself had spoken out about her recent break-up, but when other various members of her seemingly never-ending family try to wade in on the action, it really tries our patience. First of all, dad Michael Lohan was of course straight in there with a "supportive" message. That man should be given some sort of award for shameless self-promotion. Then Dina Lohan was snapped out drinking with her – apparently teetotal – daughter in an LA bar and now Lindsay's flipping granny has had her say. Why can't these people just pick up the phone? Granny Marilyn (no relation to Piers Morgan) said publicly, "We're all here for her and we'd love to see her. Me, as a grandmother, I'd like to try and help her out. I think she needs her family in her life, but they're not. They should be. I haven't seen her in over a year." Um, maybe that's because you do things like this? Marilyn then went on to say about the break-up, "I don't think she should be with her." Hmm, not a SamRo fan, then. In other Lohan news, it has now been stated that Samantha Ronson will not be taking out a restraining order against her former girlfriend, because there's "no reason" for one. We give up.
