Poor Robert Pattinson. While most men would bask in the glory of being the centre of a bidding war amongst women, the shy 23-year-old Twilight star clearly found the experience toe-curlingly uncomfortable. Robert agreed to auction himself – or at least his kisses – off to the highest bidder at an AIDS charity bash in Cannes last night but, as you can see from the cringe-tastic clip above, he didn't think he'd make more than five dollars. As Sharon Stone gets the bidding up to a whopping $20,000 per kiss (that's a huge £12,600), Rob hides his face, giggles and looks down at the ground – presumably hoping it will swallow him up. It's very touching to see such a huge heartthrob with such a small ego – and we now think we love Rpattz a little bit more than before. How much would YOU pay for a tongue sarnie with Rob?
