Mischa Barton was escorted from her Hollywood home by police yesterday afternoon, following a non-emergency call about a "medical issue". Police in LA have since confirmed that they are "assisting" the actress with a "medical issue" and that no one else was involved or had been arrested. Recent pictures of Mischa looking tired and washed-out have prompted many to voice their concern about the star's health, but it's not clear at this stage what exactly this "medical issue" relates to. Mischa's rep has yet to issue an official statement on the incident, but we will bring you any updates as soon as we get them.
Update: The latest reports coming over from the US claim that Mischa is now in hospital recovering from recent dental surgery. The actress was assisted by the police because of the immense pain she was in following the surgery, and she was later airlifted straight to hospital.
