This is very exciting news! Baywatch is being reworked as a spoof-style comedy for the big screen. The beach-set drama, which started back in 1989 and was at one stage the most-watched show on TV with over 1.1 billion(!) viewers, launched the career of Pamela Anderson, and revived the then-flagging career of David Hasselhoff. The new production will reportedly add "some giggle to the jiggle”, and will be done in the style of classic spoof movies such as Police Academy and Hot Shots. None of the original cast are thought to have main parts in the movie, but both Pammie and The Hoff are rumoured to have cameo roles. We think it sounds hilarious – what are your thoughts?
