Now, we wouldn’t normally freely admit to being interested in seeing a Miley Cyrus movie – we’ve seen Hannah Montana: The Movie, but we pretended that was for the benefit of our niece. But now Miley is set to star in a film that isn’t going to make us seem quite so teenyboppery; her next flick The Last Song has been written by Nicholas Sparks – the man behind one of the best weepy dramas ever The Notebook – specially to launch pop princess Miley to an older audience. It’s all about a rebellious teen who’s sent to live with her estranged father, and it looks like just the sort of teen drama that totally sucks us in.
