Harry Potter fans are among some of the most dedicated we've ever come across, and yesterday hundreds of them headed to HMV on London's Oxford Street to pick up the brand new Blu-Ray release of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince and meet some of the stars from the movie. Tom Felton (Draco), Matt Lewis (Neville), Jessie Cave (Lavender) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) all turned up to greet their fans and sign copies of the film. heatworld caught up with the cast just before they started and asked them if they'd ever encountered anything extreme from their fans. Let's just say the answers were pretty surprising. "I met a girl in Canada," Matt told us. "It was very odd, but at the same time it really meant a lot. She was a fan of Harry Potter and the character of Neville, and he'd really, sort of, helped her in her life. Anyway she'd got a Neville quote tattooed on her arm, and then my signature. It was very very touching...I was speechless." That is pretty impressive, but wait till you hear Tom's... "There was an American guy who tried to adopt me," he told us. "He sent me the adoption forms and stuff. He'd changed his name to Lucius Malfoy! It's no joke! He'd sent legal papers for me to a) change my name to Draco Malfoy and b) to be adopted by him. Luckily my mum declined his offer." Crazy stuff! Tom, Matt, Jessie and Evanna were kind enough to sign a copy of the Blu-Ray for us before we left – you can see Tom holding it above with heat's lovely Giovanna – and now one of you lovely people can win it.
