Orlando Bloom to net $1m for two-minute Hobbit appearance

Orlando Bloom is reportedly set to earn over $1million for a two-minute appearance in new movie The Hobbit. 
 
Nice work if you can get it.
 
The Lord Of The Rings star will reprise the role of Legolas in the film version of The Hobbit to be directed by Peter Jackson.  Orly’s LOTR co-stars Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan are also set to make cameo appearances in the new flick.
 
The Office star Martin Freeman has already been confirmed to play the role of Bilbo Baggins. Martin will be joined by other British stars Robert Kazinsky and Aidan Turner, both of whom are reportedly taking home a combined pay-check that is less than Orlando’s. That should make for a good atmosphere on set. Not that Orly will actualy be there for that long, so that’s something.
 
Orlando has got an extra mouth to feed now, but do you think his salary is over the top, or is he worth every single penny?

    lol @ Diana wanting to lick legolas's ears. Are you a spock fan as well then? The other guy is Aragorn of Arathorn (Viggo Mortenson).

    I hate to say this, but as much as a stickler as I am for literature and keeping the films close to the books, I don't care if Legolas isn't in the book - as long as he's in the film. I am that shallow.

    I read The Hobbit last summer and I'm pretty sure Legolas isn't in it though. Well looking forward to the movie though!
