Twilight star Ashley Greene – who plays Alice Cullen in the vampire saga – has admitted that coming to the end of filming was such a end-of-an-era experience that it felt like the end of high school.
Speaking to MTV.com from the set of Breaking Dawn the 24-year-old actress confessed, "It's fun to go to work every day, but it's kind of bittersweet. It's sad, because I feel like its high school or something. We've been doing it for so long.”
Ashley will get to hangout with her Twilight pals in the future, Breaking Dawn is to be released in two parts so there will be plenty of promotional work for the cast to do. Which, using Ashley’s analogy, will be like the coolest high school reunion ever. “For two years, we're going to have these movies coming out and press tours and all that stuff, and premieres,” continues the actress, “so the nice thing about that is that we know we are going to see each other over the next two years. It's not as hard to finish out the franchise.”
We’d feel more sorry for Ashley that the Twilight Saga is coming to a close but between Dannii Minogue leaving The X Factor, the end of Harry Potter, and the end of Twilight we’re too busy feeling sorry for ourselves.
