It's a showbiz collaboration we never thought we'd hear of, but actors Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter have pitched a business idea to those scary bigwigs in Dragons' Den.
Tim Burton 's new flick Dark Shadows features both Johnny and Helena, naturally. The film is currently in production at Pinewood Studios, which just so happens to be where the new series of Dragons' Den is being filmed.
Johnny and Helena are said to have approached some of the Dragon's, and Helena attempted to sell them her brilliant idea of *drum roll*...a 'Prambrella' (a pram that has an umbrella built in, obv). A source told The Mirror:
"Johnny was delighted to meet the Dragons, and Tim and Helena were telling them they are avid fans and watch every week"
The source also went on to say:
"Johnny was laughing and joining in, but it wasn't a great idea, so all the Dragons very politely told her, 'I'm out'." Charming.
He's gorgeous and he loves the same telly as us! *Swoon*. The Heat office are furiously shaking out our piggy banks to invest, anything to try and get a date with Jack Sparrow.
Both Johnny and Helena will be starring together in another upcoming film The Lone Ranger, she is one lady we'd happily trade places with. The ninth series of Dragons' Den starts this Sunday on BBC2.
