Fancy seeing Channing Tatum in a tight police man’s outfit? Well, step right this way. The Torso of the Week legend is starring alongside Jonah Hill for the remake of action-comedy 21 Jump Street and it’s safe to say he’s looking good. Very very good. He’s not the only one though, with Jonah slimming down by an estimated 40 pounds for the film. We’re crossing everything that he was on the same diet as us – a strict regime of TV and chocolate. Please.
Jonah stars as Officer Schmidt, with Channing as his partner, Officer Jenko. When a new drug becomes popular at the local high school, the pair are selected to go undercover as students thanks to their (sort of, by Hollywood standards) youthful looks. We’re guessing that the fact Channing could pretty much make any woman do whatever he says, would work in his favour too.
The main problem is that they aren’t the cool kids (we know… the idea of Channing not being cool is madness, but stick with it). The answer is of course to throw a massive party. If, like us, you’ve been there and done that, you’ll know it’s not a good idea. The stains don’t come off.
Originally a TV series in the 80’s, starring the beautiful Johnny Depp (Who also makes an appearance this time around. Hallelujah!), we can’t WAIT for the movie to hit cinemas in March. Now, let’s go and do something bad so Channing can arrest us…
