We can’t wait to see Titanic revamped and in full 3D glory when it arrives at cinemas in April. We’re excited, but Kate Winslet’s reaction to seeing footage from the film was less excitement and more toe-curling embarrassment!
The 36-year-old actress has admitted that she didn’t exactly enjoy seeing 17 minutes of 3D preview footage of herself in the blockbuster movie, revealing to USA Today that she wanted it to “make it f**king stop”,
“I was literally like, ‘Oh my God, make it stop! Is that me? Oh my God, that's me. Block my ears, somebody! Somebody club out my senses. Make it f**cking stop!’”
“I'm sure I wasn't really a very good actress,” she continues. “Seriously, we are talking about something that happened 15 years ago. It is a very long time ago, I've learned so much, and I've changed as a person so much since then. It is really quite weird. Can you imagine anything stranger? It's going to be like famous all over again, Titanic all over again!”

Family viewing
While Kate cringed at seeing at seeing her 21-year-old self as Rose, she is excited to sit down and watch the film with her two children Mia, 11, and eight-year-old Joe.
“A whole new generation is going to get to experience the film. It's very exciting that I can actually sit with [my children] - together - and we can all watch it in a movie theatre. That is going to be quite amazing, actually.”
