Now this really is scary – in a bid to rebuild her screen career, Lindsay Lohan is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Scary Movie 5 alongside fellow hell-raiser Charlie Sheen.
There’s been no details of a plot for the film just yet, but considering Charlie’s character Tom died in Scary Movie 4 we’re not holding out too much hope.
Although Lindsay’s rep has refused to confirm if she’s signed up, insiders have insisted she will be in the film. It wouldn’t be Lindsay’s first foray into horror either – having starred in the scary flop I Know Who Killed Me in 2007.
Sadly, the hilarious Anna Faris won’t be reprising her role as Cindy in the film (eek, let’s hope that’s not a sign it won’t be any good!) but Lindsay and Charlie will be joined by High School Musical’s Ashley Tisdale on the project. Phew.
Linds has been keeping herself busy recently filming the made-for-telly Liz & Dick playing the role of Elizabeth Taylor, and starring opposite male porn star James Deen in the sexy thriller The Canyons which let’s face it, sounds about as far away from The Parent Trap and Herbie: Fully Loaded as you could get.
The movie won’t be hitting the cinemas until 2013, which will give Linds plenty of time to do other projects. We say a stint in Celebrity Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing would give her plenty to be getting on with…
