Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle is making her acting debut in a new film called, The Christmas Candle.
Susan’s even getting a special song to sing in the production.
And we must say, she's looking pretty good in her period drama costume getup. Chic, Sue.
She dreamed a dream…
After shooting to the heights of dizzy stardom after appearing on Britains Got Talent in 2009, it appears that the 51-year-old is now ready to make her mark on the big screen.
There is even talk of an Oscar, already.
The cast began filming for the production earlier this week and in an earlier statement, it was clear that Susan was thrilled to be chosen.
“I can't believe I'm making a film! I'm very excited to be part of The Christmas candle. It's a fantastic experience to be part of the team.”
She will star alongside Les Misérables actress Samantha Barks and Dr Who’s, Sylvester McCoy in the production.
One of her staring moments is expected to be when the singer takes centre stage in the church and belts out a hymn.
Oh we cannot wait for this.
The film’s plot revolves around the tale of angel that visits the village candle maker every 25 years and…touches a single candle.
Whoever should light that candle, will see their wish granted on Christmas eve. However – horror strikes, when the candle goes missing!
