Recent pictures and interviews suggest that Pete Doherty has actually cleaned up his act this time, but what will Thames Magistrates Court make of the all-new Pete when he appears there later today? He’s due at the dock in relation to drug possession charges and, if he’s found guilty, he might actually go to jail this time – which would be pretty bad timing, since the new Babyshambles album is just coming out. It’s thought that when (if…?) he turns up today, his progress in his battle against drug addiction will be reviewed. We’ll bring you news on the case as soon as we have it. Fingers crossed he’s finally sorting himself out, eh?
