Rap superstar Kanye West laid his beloved mother Donda to rest yesterday, with pals Jay-Z and Beyonce in attendance to support him. While Kanye has maintained a dignified silence over the events surrounding his mum’s death on 10 November – the surgeon who performed the cosmetic surgery, just one day before Donda died, prepared to defend himself in a live prime-time interview with legendary TV host Larry King. But, in a bizarre turn of events, as soon as Dr Jay Adams sat down for the chat with King, he refused to answer any questions "in respect" of the West family and walked off the set. "I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for the West family and they have asked me not to go on,” he told a bewildered Larry. “I've said from the very beginning, I don't have a side in this. They are my side and so I'm going to respect their wishes." As he unclipped his mic and walked off set he said would only speak when the West family was happy for him to. "If they're never comfortable, then I'll never be comfortable."
