Wow! Check out this trailer for the most candid Spice Girls documentary yet. Geri Halliwell reportedly broke down while being interviewed recently about her shock departure from the girl group in 1998. And she certainly looks tearful in this snippet as she recalls how “redundant” she felt before she walked out. A bleary-eyed Geri says, "The girls didn’t need me anymore. The wheels were turning, whether I was there or not.” Although the girls are now one big happy family again, juggernauting across the world in a private jet with their phenomenal reunion tour, it obviously doesn’t take much to bring back bad feelings amongst them. “She could’ve REALLY fucked things up for us,” a bitter sounding Mel C recalls in this clip. But in the “explosive” 90-minute special Spice Girls: Giving You Everything, which heatworld can’t wait to watch, Posh says she was always rooting for Geri. “It was never the same when she left. Other members might say, ‘Oh, it was great. We could do more complicated dance moves. We could sing more.’ But that’s not what we were about. We were about five girls.”
