Heatworld is properly excited! We've just been privy to the very first dress rehearsal of the Spice Girls gig and the opening of the show gave us actual goosebumps because it was so good. We were summoned to GM place in Vancouver for a super intimate viewing along with a select few of the Spice inner circle including the fellas of the two Mel's, Bunton's boyf Jade and cutie baby Beau, Brooklyn (who was transfixed) and Romeo (who looked bored and tired). No sign of Becks (believe us, we looked) - because rumour had it Posh was too nervous to let him see the first show. The girls came over to thank us for coming and we can tell you these things: A) Up close they all look stunning and their first outfits are various peach and beige satin combos - although Mel B's looked a bit more Mark One than Roberto Cavalli B) They are ALL nearly as thin as Posh - with the exception of the Bunton who was wearing a little empire dress to hide the baby bloat C) Posh showed no signs of pregnancy whatsoever D) They kept hugging each other in an obvious attempt to quash squabbling rumours which heatworld felt was a little contrived E) The first three numbers are Spice Up Your Life, Stop and Say You'll Be There F) Geri and Posh were struggling more than the others with the dance routines (which aren't exactly taxing) and were a bit out of time .... but we hope they've stayed up all night practising because we are still wetting ourselves with anticipation about the real deal tonight!
