Girls Aloud anger fans
Uh-oh, Girls Aloud have had to do some serious explaining to their fans. The girls recently ran a modelling competition on their website – and the prize was to model with the girls on their new ITV show Passions of Girls Aloud. However, it seems the entries weren’t quite up to scratch, because now they’ve suddenly changed the prize. Oh dear. Nicola has posted an apologetic blog to explain the situation. “I just wanted to say thank you so much for entering my competition and offering to help me model,” she writes. “As it worked out, the final decision lay with the production company and it was decided that Emma who won should see me at the show and I would give her a makeover instead. I just wanted to say sorry to all of you who entered and know that I try my hardest to stick to my word but this was one situation I couldn’t control… I really hope you understand. Love Nicola Xx.” Still – that was very politely put, wasn’t it?
