Indie girls the country over came out for last night's NMEs and put on their best party frocks, including Cerys Matthew- formerly-of-Catatonia and Marc Bannerman. It was her first public appearance since splitting with toadface, so it's a bit of a shame that Cerys' best party frock was basically the most unflattering dress EVER. A massive silver smock, belted so it looks all lumpy and bumpy, with a black long-sleeved poloneck underneath? Nooooooooooo, Cerys, nooooooooooo. We know you've got an amazing body underneath all that fabric (we saw it in a bikini on I'm A Celeb) so why this? Why for the love of God, why?!
