They haven't been seen together since 8 January and have been living "separate lives" according to friends, but now Madonna's PR Liz Rosenberg has come out fighting, stating that the Ritchies are very much still together. In a statement last night, Rosenberg explained why the couple had been spending time apart: "The Material Girl toured the US to promote her upcoming album Hard Candy, while the director was in England putting the finishing touches on his new film RocknRolla, filming a Nike commercial and working on several scripts," she said. She then went on to say that the couple were "joyfully back together at home in London. All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household." However, Guy's dad John told this week’s Closer magazine, "They're not spending any time together. Madonna is busy in America with the children, and Guy wants to stay in the UK. They won't be spending Easter together either. Guy will be over here all year as he's working on a script. I don't know if there are serious problems in the marriage. I truly hope not." Ooh, what IS going on? Hmmm...
