Since the decision mere minutes ago that the Mills/McCartney full judgement WILL be made available to the public, speculation has mounted as to the real reason behind Heather’s desire to keep it private. The decision itself is unusual in this sort of case, but, let’s face it, Heather and Paul are far from ordinary people. Lawyers are speculating that the judge in this particular case may have been fed up of all the rumours surrounding these proceedings – especially relating to Sir Paul’s personal fortune. This, and the fact that the McCartney team were always keen to have the full judgement published, makes Heather’s argument seem rather hollow. Surely if the judgement did pose a serious risk or infringement to little Beatrice, then Sir Paul would also be against it’s release? Legal experts are also speculating that the judge may be critical of Heather in his judgement, and that there are “more damaging details still to emerge.” Additionally, there are reports that the main reason Heather and Paul were unable to settle their divorce privately was due to her reluctance to accept the terms of a gagging order. This, sources say, was the one thing that the McCartney team were insistent upon, and it looks as if Heather was determined to fight it to the last. The judgement itself will be available very soon, and we’ll bring you all the details as we have them.
