Robbie Williams is virtually a recluse these days, so when we heard that he was planning to give one interview this year, we were quite intrigued. Would it be with Oprah? Letterman? Lucie Cave? Well, not quite… it’s with Joss Stone! Robbie’s recorded a chat with Joss from his home in LA – and it will be air on a Devon radio station in the next few weeks. Apparently Joss has a regular show called Peace Love And Music (of course) on Exeter’s Gemini FM, in which she interviews various showbiz pals like Snoop Dogg and, er, Beverly Knight, but Robbie is her biggest coup so far. “It’s great, I learnt a lot,” she says. “And there’s no point in learning it if you’re not going to share it…” (Um, we’re not sure we agree, but carry on…) “So, it’s like, what’s interesting for me with Robbie is, like, what is he inspired by? I wanna find out.” According to her co-host Chris Dinnis, Joss is a “natural broadcaster”, but we’re yet to hear evidence of that. Of course, it would be easy to say that Joss had a good face for radio, if she wasn’t actually rather pretty, but she does have a personality for silent movies…
