Sounds like MOST people felt the love in the room at the first night of the new production of Gone With The Wind, with Darius getting a standing ovation last night. Dazza plays the lead role of Rhett Butler in the new musical version of the 1939 classic film and opened to a packed crowd of celebs including Babs Windsor, Twiggy, Joan Collins and *ahem* Duncan from out of Blue. But despite the audience loving his work, not everyone thought Darius’ performance was all that, as this morning he’s received very mixed reviews...
"The diabolically dashing Darius Danesh brings a seductively insolent charm, a dark velvet voice and a genuine fugitive pathos to the cynical blockade runner." Paul Taylor, The Independent
"Only Darius' performance saves this show from crumbling into utter mediocrity." Paul Callan, The Daily Express
"Darius gives a stilted impersonation of Clark Gable." Charles Spencer, The Daily Telegraph
