It’s fair to say we’ve been a little, er, critical of Chanelle’s attempts at being a pop star – but yesterday she appeared all by herself on heat Radio's 'diet Coke' Break Show and did her best to prove that she can sing. Chanelle bravely belted out a few lines from her debut single, and seems to have acquired an American accent (uh-oh, has Joss-stick Stone been breathing near her or something?). OK, so she’s not exactly Charlotte Church, but her level of singing talent isn’t actually any worse than that of her idol, Ms Vicky Beckham, is it? *awaits flurry of abuse*
