Some good news for Britney Spears – the slightly-less-troubled-than-before singer has been granted more time to spend with her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline currently has sole custody of the kids but yesterday, at a low-key court appearance, Britney's access was increased in recognition of the progress she is making pulling her life together. The singer arrived wearing a brown polka-dot dress and white sweater flanked by her parents and lawyers. Inside the court, the judge expanded Britney’s visitation rights allowing Britney to see the children for longer periods of time. Mr Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said, "Britney will now get three days of supervised visitation a week. The court made orders today, they were orders that the parties were able to mostly agree to." He even called the court's ruling "a step in the right direction" adding, "The children are doing great – that's the key... That's what all of this is about." Court spokesman Allan Parachini also read a statement from Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne with the same sentiment. It read, "We are so pleased with Britney's progress, and we are very appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress," The next progress hearing is set for 15 July.
