What is it with some stars and their reluctance to wear knickers? After the flurry of no-pants pics courtesy of Britney, Lindsay and co last year, we thought the "trend" had died down. Apparently not. According to a source, Amy Winehouse threw a mini-tantrum at the Nelson Mandela concert on Friday after she was told to put on some knickers to perform. Event organisers were worried that Amy would shock the audience, which included poor old Nelson himself, if she lifted up the edge of her dress as she sometimes does. When the big-haired singer was asked to put on some big pants, she allegedly flew into a rage and screamed, "I'm not going on!". Andrea Corr and Brian May quickly stepped in to take her allotted slot while Amy was calmed down, and eventually she did put on some pants to perform. However, when she returned later for a second song, her knickers seemed to have vanished. We don't know about you, but we find the idea of seeing Amy sans-pants a bit frightening. Why on EARTH would you want to risk flashing anyone, especially Nelson frigging Mandela? Thankfully, no incriminating pictures have emerged yet – let's hope it stays that way.
